The Artist
About Garth

I started tattooing years ago and never really stopped. Worked my way through a few shops, learned from some incredible artists, and eventually decided to do my own thing. That's how Last Tattoo came together.
It's a traditional shop in southeast Calgary. No frills, no gimmicks. Just good tattooing in a clean, comfortable space.
My roots are in American Traditional. Bold lines, solid colour, designs that hold up over time. But I don't limit myself to one style. I do hand-poke, trash polka, black and grey, custom pieces, coverups, whatever the idea calls for. Every tattoo is different because every person is different.
I'm not on here trying to sell you something. If you've got an idea you've been thinking about, send me a DM or an email. We'll talk about it, figure out placement and size, and I'll draw something up. That's how it works. No booking apps, no complicated forms. Just a conversation.
When I'm not tattooing, I'm usually at a show, working on flash, or in the shop with the guys. If you're ever in the area, swing by. Last Tattoo is at 321 50 Ave SE in Calgary.
Specialties
What I Tattoo
American Traditional
Bold outlines, solid colour, classic subject matter. Designs that hold up over time and age beautifully.
Hand-Poke
Stick-and-poke done properly. Clean lines, intentional shading. A different feel from machine work, in the best way.
Trash Polka
Graphic, abstract, high-contrast. Mixes realism with bold brushstroke elements and typographic details.
Black & Grey
Smooth gradients, fine detail, timeless look. Works for portraits, landscapes, ornamental, anything with depth.
Coverups
